By booking a test, visiting our lab, using our website, or communicating with us via phone or WhatsApp, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website (www.rognidandiagnostic.com), using our services, or booking tests through any channel (phone, WhatsApp, online form, or in-person), you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions
• You are at least 18 years of age, or have obtained parental/guardian consent for a minor
• You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• You have provided accurate and complete information during booking

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Offered

Rognidan Pathology Lab offers the following diagnostic services:

• Clinical pathology laboratory tests (blood, urine, and other samples)
• Health screening packages
• Home sample collection by trained phlebotomists
• Digital delivery of laboratory reports

We reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice. We may also decline to process a test request if we believe it is not appropriate or cannot be performed to our quality standards.

3. Appointments & Bookings

• Appointments can be booked via WhatsApp, phone call, our website form, or in-person at the lab
• Booking confirmation is subject to slot availability and is confirmed only after you receive an explicit confirmation message from our team
• Please provide accurate personal information — incorrect contact details may result in failure to deliver reports
• Appointment slots are not guaranteed until confirmed by our staff
• We recommend booking home collection slots at least 12–24 hours in advance for best availability
• Walk-in visits to the lab are welcome during working hours (Mon–Sun, 7 AM – 9 PM) subject to queue

4. Sample Collection

4.1 At Our Lab

• Patients must arrive on time for their scheduled slot. Late arrivals may require rescheduling
• Valid photo identification may be requested for report authentication
• For fasting tests, patients must adhere to fasting instructions given during booking
• Rognidan is not liable for inaccurate results caused by patient non-compliance with pre-test preparation instructions

4.2 Home Sample Collection

• Home collection is subject to the serviceable area and slot availability
• The patient or an authorized adult must be present at the designated address during the scheduled collection window
• If our phlebotomist arrives and the patient is unavailable, a rescheduling or cancellation fee may apply
• Safe and hygienic conditions must be available for blood collection at the patient's premises
• Rognidan bears no liability for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other unforeseeable circumstances

5. Test Reports & Results

• Reports are typically delivered within the timeframe communicated at booking. Report turnaround times are estimates and may vary based on test complexity and volume
• Reports are delivered digitally (WhatsApp and/or email) to the contact details provided at booking
• It is the patient's responsibility to provide correct and up-to-date contact information. We cannot be held liable for non-delivery due to incorrect contact details
• Physical copies of reports are available for collection at our lab during working hours
• Reports are generated based on the sample provided by the patient. The accuracy of results depends on proper pre-test preparation and sample integrity
• In rare cases, a sample may need to be recollected due to hemolysis, clotting, or insufficient volume — at no additional charge if due to a collection error on our part
• Reports are confidential documents intended solely for the patient or their authorized representative

6. Pricing & Payments

• Prices for all tests and packages are communicated at the time of booking and are subject to change without prior notice
• Promotional pricing (such as the Health Package at ₹1,500/-) is a limited-time offer and may be withdrawn or modified at Rognidan's discretion
• Payment is due at the time of sample collection (at lab or home collection)
• Accepted payment methods: Cash, UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm), NEFT/IMPS bank transfer
• All prices are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise
• No hidden charges. The price confirmed at booking is the final price, unless additional tests are requested

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

7.1 Cancellation by Patient

• Cancellation before sample collection: Full refund if cancelled at least 2 hours before scheduled appointment time
• Cancellation after sample collection begins: No refund as laboratory processing has commenced
• No-show for home collection: If patient is unavailable and we cannot reach them, a cancellation fee of ₹100/- may apply for the home visit

7.2 Cancellation by Rognidan

• In rare circumstances (equipment failure, staff emergency, severe weather), we may need to cancel or reschedule appointments — with full refund or rescheduling at no additional cost

7.3 Refund Process

• Refunds for UPI/online payments are processed within 5–7 working days to the original payment source
• Cash refunds are issued at the lab during working hours

8. Medical Disclaimer

• All test results must be interpreted by a licensed and qualified medical doctor in the context of the patient's complete clinical picture
• Rognidan's role is limited to performing laboratory testing and reporting results accurately — we do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Patients are strongly advised not to self-medicate based on test results alone
• Reference ranges provided in reports are population-based general guidelines and may not apply to every individual
• Information on our website regarding tests, symptoms, and conditions is for educational purposes only and should not replace professional medical consultation
• If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call emergency services (112) immediately — do not wait for test results

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rognidan Pathology Lab shall not be liable for:

• Any medical decision made solely on the basis of our laboratory reports without physician consultation
• Inaccurate results caused by patient non-compliance with pre-test preparation instructions
• Report delivery delays beyond our reasonable control (network failures, platform outages)
• Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of our services
• Third-party services (WhatsApp, email providers) used for report delivery

Our total liability in any circumstances is limited to the amount paid by the patient for the specific test in question.

10. Patient Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful personal and medical information
• Follow all pre-test preparation instructions communicated at booking (fasting, medication guidelines, etc.)
• Inform our staff of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect testing or sample collection
• Consult a qualified doctor before making any health decisions based on your results
• Keep your report login credentials (if provided) confidential
• Behave respectfully toward all Rognidan staff — we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone displaying abusive or threatening behavior

11. Website Use

• You may use our website for lawful purposes only — to access information and book our services
• You must not attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with our website or its security features
• You must not copy, scrape, or commercially reproduce our website content without written permission
• We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate but cannot guarantee its completeness at all times — always confirm current pricing and availability by calling us
• The website may contain links to third-party sites — we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices

12. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, images, logos, icons, layout design, and CSS — is the intellectual property of Rognidan Pathology Lab or its licensors and is protected under applicable Indian copyright and intellectual property laws.
